family, just thinking about it, or already know the joy of having have a
canine or feline companion, you will find something of value here.....
Something that will increase your knowledge and enjoyment of your fur
babies.

grooming, where to find dog-friendly beaches and pet-friendly
hotels/motels, All About Dogs and Cats is committed to keeping you
informed.
We offer specialized articles on pet health and diet and nutrition, and TLC
Whole Life Pet Foods an all-natural pet food created using only the
highest quality, naturally wholesome ingredients.
All About Dogs and Cats will keep you current on where to find the
newest in pet fashions, pet toys, and pet furniture; provide information
on pet health insurance, pet health supplements and pet treats, as well
as pet-safe home products.
We encourage not only responsible ownership of your own pets, but are
fervent in our desire to promote animal welfare, and will continually
provide information that will help educate others that a pet is for LIFE.
Familiarize yourself with a short History of The Dog or History of The Cat.
Read up about Feline Behaviour or Canine Behaviour. Learn what is
involved in Acquiring a New Cat or Acquiring a New Dog. Become
knowledgeable about the horror of Puppy Mills.
Learn everything you can about your potential pet by studying the
specific Cat Breeds or Dog Breeds (see Kennel Clubs and Breed Specific
Clubs). Then consider adopting your new family member through a Dog
Breed Rescue Club or Association or a Purebred Cat Rescue. If the breed
is not important to you, there are thousands of deserving animals just
waiting for you to give them a loving home through Pet Rescue groups
and animal shelters.
Owning a dog or cat is not just about providing them with food and
occasional pet treats. It is about loving, caring, and sharing your heart
and home as well as taking care of their health and nutrition needs.
Just like humans, dogs and cats have medical needs, and these can
quickly add up. Consider investing in pet insurance, especially for those
unforeseen medical emergencies.
Because your furry friend will quickly become an integral part of your
family, you may even want to take him/her along with you when you go
on vacation. We have included a section on Pet Friendly Travel. There are
many hotels/ motels which welcome well-behaved pets, and you can even
find dog-friendly restaurants and other attractions throughout North
America.
If you really want to spoil your pet (or yourself), you will want to take a
look at some pet toys, fantastic pet furniture, and even pet fashions and
pet clothing. Except for some pet toys and pet treats your furry friend
won't really care, but you can indulge yourself.

Ode to the Animal Shelters by Rae Palmer
|
|
|
A CD dedicated to animal lovers and their pets. The primary goal of this project is to raise funds thru the media of music to help animal shelters and other related groups to continue the meaningful work they are doing in saving those who cannot speak for themselves. Most of the songs were inspired by true stories. Some are simply based on raising awareness and educating listeners on the subject of responsible pet care in a way people could emotionally connect with The stories carry many emotions from happy to sad, to funny or sweet.
